There are four race heats based on age: elementary school, middle school, high school, and adult (18 or older). The wooden canoes are also judged on appearance, those winners will be announced before the heats begin.

About E3 Kids

All proceeds from the E3 Riverfloat will go towards E3 Kids programs in Kenya. E3 Kids International (www.e3kids.com) supports schools in Kenya and provides education scholarships for impoverished students. Their mission is to equip, empower and educate impoverished students in developing countries. Based out of Fredericksburg, e3Kids partners with locals in Kenya who are trying to positively impact their community. Through these join efforts, children who lack the means to receive an education are now able to attend school.
