What is the river like?
The Rappahannock is a beautiful river. Undammed and free-flowing for well over 100 miles the Rappahannock is beautiful through so many stretches of Virginia and in so many seasons.
The section of river that flows into Fredericksburg is the perfect home for our whitewater race. In this fun section you can expect to paddle through water ranging from calm flat-water to exciting Class II whitewater.
